Jan. 5, 2017: Thursday

Well the students are slowly getting back into the groove as we had to practice some writing skills today. They used their holiday journal and made an outline for their holiday personal narrative. We began a novel study on the book, Frindle, and read the first chapter. We began a new Journeys story, Yonder Mountain, and went over some new vocabulary words.

In Social Studies, we reviewed the final exam and explained how people can change other people's lives. 

We continued on with multiplying in Math and practiced using a multiplication table and how to multiply when 3 is a factor. 

ECA - students will be using ECA time to practice for the Chinese New Year performance on January 26.

NOTICES:

- tomorrow is PE day, please wear your casual clothes

- Elective options were handed out today. Please return your choices by Monday. Please note that they will not begin until after Chinese New Year.
