The short week has come to an end an it was nice to get back into the groove of things.
We started Language Arts off with another chapter from Frindle, followed by writing a paragraph for their holiday personal narrative.
In Math, we used strategies to multiply when 6 is a factor. The students got to play some games and complete some problem solving questions.
The students identified and compared different landforms in Science.
New Spelling Words:
erosion, pausing, pleaded, rooster, multiply, toast, dragon, Saturday, weathering, valley, canyon, fondly, examined, peak, steep, mist
HOMEWORK:
1) Science p. 212-214
2) LA - spelling sentences - please choose 8 words and make a sentence that is at least seven words long.
3) Complete your corrections on your Q2 final exams (due on Wednesday)
4) Reading Log - I have changed the expectations of the Reading Log slightly - please take a look at the R.E.D. letter
