We had just a little bit of time this morning before we left for the Parish, so we just practiced our part for the Student Showcase.
We then walked with the G1 and G2 class a few blocks to the Parish, and got instructions as to what our duties will be. The G3 class had the pleasure of raking and sweeping the dead grass and leaves. Everybody took turns and helped each other to do a fantastic job! Great work every one!
Upon our return to the school, Ms. Parker had the students color a hand and butterfly to make a school based community project. They also got their hands dirty in making a hand painting. Both projects are a work in progress and we can't wait to see the finished product.
After lunch, we explained how the government helps communities and wrote a letter to the mayor suggesting how to make the community better in Social Studies.
We reviewed the quiz on Data and Graphs, and began the new Math unit on Probability. The students got to decide if an event is certain, likely, unlikely, or impossible.

- tomorrow is the second Friday of the month and you can wear your PE clothes to school, and then change into casual clothes
- Christmas is approaching and we will have a performance again. If there are any students that would like to play a musical instrument for a solo/duet performance, they are more than welcome to, and you can let me know.
Have a lovely evening.
