Nov. 2, 2016: Wednesday

We began the day by comparing and contrasting, followed by writing a paragraph. The students were introduced to some new vocabulary words from the Journeys story, "What Do Illustrators Do?"

In Science, the students made a model of a frog tongue to show how its adaptation helps it survive.

   


HOMEWORK:
1) Science p. 129-130
2) Language Arts - Picture Dictionary - please choose 7 spelling words and write a sentence of at least 6 words.
3) Reading Log

NOTICES:
- students have taken home a letter about the Community Service activities that will happen next Thursday
- please return your spelling booklets and signed math quizzes
- no secret message for today
