'Twas a quieter day in the classroom as compared to yesterday. However, the students still worked very hard.
Language Arts/Reading - They began developing the plot of the story they are writing, used dictionary skills, and used adjectives to compare more than one noun.
Science - The students described how soil is formed, completed an interactive notebook activity, and used the Smartboard.
HOMEWORK:
1) Science interactive notebook
2) Chinese New Year writing (if you haven't already handed it in) - please remember to bring in your Work on Writing notebook
3) Social Studies p. 221
4) Reading Logs (you can use your SS text)
NOTICES:
- Social Studies quiz tomorrow: please review the following pages briefly - p. 190-194, 204-208, 212-214, pay attention to the things we talked about in class, and the vocabulary words you defined in your notebook.
- Spelling test on Friday
