Welcome to the last month of the year! Luckily, our weather is much better than my home in Canada.
Here's what the Talented Third Graders did today:
Language Arts/Reading - continued to write their compare/contrast essay, made inferences, used irregular verbs
Social Studies - described the duties of the judicial branch
Math - used different ways to multiply when 4 is a factor
New Spelling Words: producer, weekend, vacation, winter, snowman, snowflake, Christmas, food chain, eagle, presents, November, along, always, candy cane
HOMEWORK:
1) this homework is due for Monday, there will not be any homework assigned tomorrow
2) Social Studies p. 143
3) Math p. 50 **only even numbers: 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.
4) Science quiz corrections
NOTICES:
- please hand in your Scholastic book orders tomorrow
- for tomorrow's field trip, please remember to bring: healthy snack, a light backpack, water bottle, extra clothes and socks, sunscreen, bug repellent, hat, comfortable shoes, and your national health insurance ID
- please arrive to school before 8:25am tomorrow so we can be ready to get on the bus at 8:30am
- students have brought home the December newsletter that contains a lot of important information for this month
