Welcome back everybody!!  I'm very excited for this new school year. It was great to see the familiar faces as well as meet the new ones. We will have a nice community in Grade 3 consisting of seven students. I look forward to teaching them.

On our first day in school, we began with a short Assembly in the gymnasium, followed by Mass. The rest of the day consisted of introductions, learning rules and procedures, gathering our class books, sharing our summer holiday activities, storytime, and a "Get to know you BINGO" game.


A few things to note:

• your child has brought home some papers today which included: lunch form, general information, Class Dojo sign up, and my introduction letter containing what materials to bring to school. 
• Please mark next Saturday, August 20th on your calendar as the day to come and meet me in the school. I will be answering any questions/concerns you may have, as well as describing what the school year will look like for the Talented Third Graders. 
• Please sign up on Class Dojo. This will be your best way of communicating with me. If you have any problems signing in, you can write a message in the Communication Book, and we can work together and set you up. 
• This blog will be updated on a daily basis with important information, so please check it regularly.
