Apr. 27, 2017: Thursday

We had only a short time in the homeroom classroom today. But, in the morning, we started our day off with Language and Reading and here's what we did:

- read Chapter 6 of the Chocolate Touch
- began drafting a research report
- responded to the story Jump!
- capitalized book titles

All afternoon was the Invention Convention. Firstly, I would like to say congratulations to all the students that worked so hard for the Invention Convention. It was something new and I think everybody did a super job, especially during the presentation. It takes a lot of confidence to be able to speak like you did. Amazing job, everyone!
(all the pictures are posted in the Invention Convention blog)

Now, here are the winners of the Invention Convention from Lower Elementary:

1st Place - Luca
2nd Place - Stetson and Ruby
3rd Place - Tiffany and Jinny

Stetson got a Science kit that will allow him to dig his own dinosaur fossil. Great work by everybody!
