Oct. 18, 2016: Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everybody!

We are back to our super busy homeroom Tuesdays.  Here's what we learned today:

  • Language Arts/Reading - reviewed personal narratives, Cafe Menu - practiced Ask Questions Throughout (during reading, students should always think of questions they may have, and also what the answer could be), used subject pronouns to make sentences.
  • Math - rounded numbers to estimate differences.
  • Social Studies - the students did an amazing job in quarter 1. Their goal in Class Dojo was to get 95% good points, and they ended up with 96%. Awesome job!  Their reward was to choose a class to have free time outside. Well, they chose Social Studies, so the students had a fun time outside.
  • Science - explained the difference between complete and incomplete metamorphosis.

HOMEWORK:

1) Math p. 28
2) LA - please choose a subject pronoun and write a sentence. You must write 6 sentences using a different subject pronoun each time,
3) Reading Log
4) Tell Mr. Y that the secret message today is: I love bananas.

NOTICES:

Enjoy your evening!

Mr. Y
