Well, we are lucky that typhoon is just missing us this time. It still might get a little breezy tonight/tomorrow morning.
This morning we had Mass, and I heard the students sing very nicely. Following Mass, we had just enough time to go over more new vocabulary from "Max's Words."
In the afternoon, we discussed and gave examples of the rights and responsibilities we have as citizens. (Social Studies)
In Math, we regrouped tens as ones when subtracting. Students were able to use the interactive whiteboard again to practice their skills.
Here's a website with some fun subtraction games your child can play. It's a fun way to let them practice the skills. You can also find addition games along the tabs at the top of the page:

All students gave their top 3 choices of which character they would like to be for the Student Showcase, and we began to practice the lines today in ECA. The students are enjoying practice and we're all looking forward to the show.
