Welcome to the end of week one of the
second quarter.
We had a busy start to the day with a
spelling test, followed by Listen to Reading. The students attentively listened
to another chapter of The Wizard of Oz.
The students got to practice regrouping
tens and hundreds to subtract on the whiteboard and also in some new games.
In Science, the students explained that
diversity occurs in new animals. They also completed their research project
presentations on an animal’s life cycle, and they also completed their frog
life cycle activity.

costume, pumpkin, vampire, mummy, spider, trick or treat, monster, skeleton,
haunted
HOMEWORK:
1) Math Story – use your numbers and
setting to create a 2-3 sentence story that includes a subtraction problem.
Don’t forget to solve your problem using the steps we usually do.
