This morning in Assembly, it was our duty to give a presentation for Campus Ministry. Our topic was on Friendship, and the Talented Third Graders were great actors and actresses. They each got to show the rest of the school good ways of how to be a good friend. Excellent job, students!
Reading and Phonics class was right after Assembly. We reviewed the vocabulary from Pop's Bridge, read the story again, and answered many comprehension questions.
In Math, the students decided if an estimate or exact number is needed to solve a problem. They also completed some review work in their interactive notebooks.
Describing ways that people affect the environment is what we discussed in Social Studies.
Finally, in Science the students got to describe ways that seeds can be dispersed, observe different seeds, and discover that spores can also help some plants to reproduce. The students also got to guess what fruits the seeds came from.
