This morning the students had a spelling test. Following the test we reviewed the concepts we learned in the Daily 5, Cafe menu, English text (nouns, sentences), and a personal narrative.
Math was time for playing games. We played all different kinds of games that helped the students to review place value, rounding, addition, and money. Students rotated around to play a game from each unit and also had a different partner for each game. It was great to see the students working so well with each other. Awesome job, students!
In Science we played a Jeopardy game with questions from the content we learned so far this year.
It was great to see all the students wearing their house shirts today. The lunch room was very colorful.
HOMEWORK:
1) Reading Log
2) Think Tac Toe - this does not need to be completed for homework, however, it is a good way to study for parts of your exams. If you complete a square, I will give you 2 Dojo points! If you make a line like the real Tic Tac Toe game, I will give you 10 Dojo points! You can hand in this homework on Wednesday.
3) Study, study, study, but remember to take some breaks and enjoy the long weekend as well. Don't forget to relax a little.
