Mar. 2, 2017: Thursday

Good evening everybody. We had a busy day in the classroom which had the students working hard independently and in small groups.

Language Arts/Reading - started out with a quiz on adverbs, learned some new vocabulary from a new story, "An Ancient Greek Myth," practiced using exact adjectives, and finally it was story telling time for Victoria and Georgia. Great job by all students that told their story, and we will keep building on it next quarter.

Social Studies - identified and compared celebrations around the world, and the reasons for holidays

Math - told time to the minute

ECA - read over all the study guides together. The students are aware of what to expect on the final exams. If there are any questions about the study guides or anything else, please make sure to ask me.

HOMEWORK:
1) Social Studies p. 287
2) Reading Log Response - please complete the worksheet after completing your reading log
