Mar. 29, 2017: Wednesday

Good afternoon, my hotel did not have internet yesterday, so sorry the blog wasn't posted. It will be posted now for the rest of the week. Have fun!

The morning began with the students completing an ITBS test: Reading and Comprehension, Part 2. For a break, some students had the chance to do storytelling.

Then, it was back to an ITBS test. This time the students worked hard on the Spelling exam.  In the remaining time, the students learned some more new vocabulary words from Young Thomas Edison and continued to read the story.

At the end of the day in Science, the students wrote the Maps and Diagrams part of the ITBS test.

HOMEWORK:
1) Science - Moon Phases foldable - please cut out and glue the 2 long pieces together in order. Also, please write the name of each moon phase

2) Social Studies - Please read Wally Amos (in the Google Classroom), copy the following questions in your Social Studies notebook, and answer using full sentences.
   a) What were some of Wally Amos' needs?
   b) What were some of Wally Amos' wants?
   c) What is something Wally Amos wishes people can learn from his life?

3) Reading Log - use Wally Amos again

NOTICES:
- Spelling test on Friday
- please continue to think about how you will build a model for your invention. It's best to have an idea and a plan, and if you want to start making it now, you can. It must be finished by April 17.

Have a great night!

Mr. Yaremchuk
