Mar. 31, 2017: Friday

Happy April Fool's Day tomorrow!

The ITBS exams have ended, and I would like to say that I'm proud of all of your hard work this week. There were a lot of exams to get through and I'm sure you all did a fine job.

Today, here's what happened in my absence:

  • Language Arts - spelling test, read Young Thomas Edison, and Daily 5
  • Math - ITBS - Math Computation, and the students learned how to measure in longer lengths (m and km)
  • Science - ITBS - Science, reviewed the phases of the moon
HOMEWORK:
1) Science - Invention Convention - you must have completed p. 1-11 in your booklet, and have good ideas of how to build a model of your invention. You can build it anytime you want, using any material you want (clay, Playdoh, straws, popsicle sticks, Lego, recycled paper, cardboard, old clothes, etc.). The model must be completed by April 17.

2) Reading Log

NOTICES:
- there will not be spelling test next week
- Monday and Tuesday are holidays

Have a lovely long weekend. If you are traveling anywhere, please travel safe and have a great time.

Enjoy your weekend.

Mr. Yaremchuk
