This morning during LA/Reading, after sharing our long weekend stories, the students wrote Haiku poems, used words with different suffixes, and practiced using the words: to, to, two.
In Science the students got to explain how water can change states, and also watch it happen.
ECA - we had a short Social Studies class and looked at different examples of holidays around the world and compared/contrasted them.
HOMEWORK:
1) Science flip flap - please write the following words on the front: evaporate, condense, melt, freeze. Inside the flap, please draw a picture, and give a short definition for each word.
2) Math - please complete p. 83 (with corrections). Next, in your notebook, please write the following times, draw a clock showing that time, and write the time in words in two different ways. a) 5:05 b) 9:45 c) 12:35 d) 1:55 e) 6:30
