During Reading, we practiced the ITBS testing and then had Victoria and Josh do some storytelling. Josh's story was about fireworks, and Victoria's was about living in a castle. It's great to see the students think of a story in very little time and hear how creative their minds can be.
Social Studies began with ITBS practice tests. Following that, the students distinguished between wants and needs.
The day ended with Math and we began a new unit on measurement. We estimated and measured length to the nearest inch.
In ECA, we worked on the invention convention booklet. Just a head up that the students will have to build a model/prototype of their invention (but it doesn't need to be tested). Their model should be completed for when we come back from the Easter break.
