Mar. 22, 2017: Wednesday

Good evening everyone. The ITBS testing has been going well so far, and the students have been practicing reading carefully, and finding key words of the questions.

During Language Arts/Reading, we read part of a book about poison dart frogs to discover what a research report could look like. The students also completed a few parts of the ITBS practice tests. I finished reading The Lorax and discussed the ending of the book. Finally, we began to learn about idioms and the students practiced "It's a piece of cake" by acting out their example.

In Science the students described how the Earth's revolving around the sun is the reason for seasons.

HOMEWORK:
1) Science flip-flap, please cut out and glue the correct area in your notebook and answer the flaps.

3) Reading Log - use the reading from Wally Amos as your Reading Log

NOTICES:
- we have Station of the Cross tomorrow, and as usual, parents are welcome to join us at 8:30am. Please meet in the gym, and then we will be moving around the school to different stations and praying.
- parents, there was a letter that your child got today about the ITBS tests, please read it and hopefully it will answer any questions you may have.

Have a lovely night.
