Sept. 13, 2016

Well, we are already halfway through the school week. Unless of course we get a typhoon day, then it was an extra short week.

During our busy Tuesday, we started with Mass. Here are a couple of our students in the choir.

After Mass we reviewed the concepts learned with money in Math and practiced playing with money in games and one-on-one work.

In Social Studies we described how different regions can affect our lives. This also involved a review of the landforms and bodies of water by playing a pictionary game.

The students continued their tower building in Science and ECA.

HOMEWORK:
1) Social Studies p. 51
2) Science p. 88
3) Reading Logs (students have taken home a class book to assist with their Reading Log, and they also got a worksheet they can complete for Monday - do not have to read the whole book)

NOTICES:
- tomorrow could be a typhoon day, so please stay safe, and hope that everyone in Taiwan is ok
- Journeys quiz on The Trial Of Cardigan Jones will be on Tuesday (study the vocabulary)

Have a wonderful Moon Festival Holiday and enjoy your BBQs! Safe travels if you are going anywhere.

Mr. Yaremchuk
