Today we began with a spelling test and then wrote the new spelling words into our Daily 5 binders. We ended Language and Spelling class by listening to another chapter of The Wizard of Oz.
In math we regrouped ones to add. The students played different addition games. It's great to see how well every student plays the games.
Science was more of an ECA class today, we reviewed some homework, read our play that we will do for the Student Showcase (Language Festival) in November.

NOTICES:
- Social Studies quiz on Monday - please study Chapter 2, Lesson 1 and 2 only (p. 46-61) - here's the main points that we studied: continents, landforms and bodies of water (know the different kinds), regions, weather and climate, regions are affected by the climate, elevation maps.
- English quiz on Wednesday - singular and plural nouns
- there is a correction to the Health final exam date. Mr. Yanna said it will be on Friday, October 7.
