- Language Arts/Reading - learned the importance of drafting, revising, and proofreading written work, quiz on unit 1, and practiced chunking letters and sounds to pronounce words.
- Math - played games to practice counting coins, and made change from a given amount (we will practice making change for a couple of days as I feel it is an important lesson)
- Social Studies - reviewed yesterday's quiz, and identified ways we interact with our planet
- Science - defined and explained technology and how it has changed over the years. In ECA we also completed the catapult designing activity by answering questions.
HOMEWORK:
1) Math worksheet - remember to count up to 100 cents
2) LA - 6 spelling sentences - please choose the other 6 words and write a sentence or question of at least 6 words
3) Reading Log
NOTICES:
- PE day tomorrow
- reminder that all quizzes/tests are sent home to have a parent sign it. This shows that you are aware of how your child is doing throughout the quarter. You can remind your child to read the directions very carefully when doing the quizzes, this also includes when they are checking it.
Have a wonderful evening!
Mr. Yaremchuk
Sophie told me you went Monkey Mountain hiking. But it is raining. I often go mountain hiking there but never on a rainy day. How do that feel?
