For Language Arts and Reading, the students continued to work on writing important details about their personal narrative topic, and then organizing them. The Cafe menu lesson was how to use the pictures in texts to improve reading accuracy, build vocabulary and comprehension. We also briefly learned about singular and plural nouns.
Finishing the straw towers was the goal for Science class. All groups are now finished and we will test the towers tomorrow to see which one can hold the most books. I have to say that each group worked very well together. Great work Grade 3's.

3) Word Work worksheet - choose 4 spelling words and complete the worksheet like the pictures below. You should use your word in a sentence that tells how you connect to that word.
NOTICES:
- study guides for PE and Health were handed out today. Yes, that means exam week is just around the corner. Minor subject exams will be during the week of Oct. 3-7, and Major exams Oct. 11-14.
